Hotels in Cappadocia

Accommodation in Cappadocia is a unique experience, which will elate you. Staying in a Cave Hotel inside the rocks is something extraordinary, and when this is combined with a reasonable price, the experience…goes to whole new levels!

But let’s take things from the start. The up-and-coming force in tourism that goes by the name of Cappadocia, tries to capitalize on the reason that more than 3.5 million people visit it yearly! And what is that? The conical volcanic rocks, of course. Thus, most hotels in Cappadocia are either located inside a rock, or they try to make it look like a Cave Hotel.

Most hotels in Cappadocia have renovated rooms, dressed with modern amenities and decorated with oriental elements. An important factor is that most have terraces, from where visitors enjoy the sight of the balloons flying over them! However, you should know that the rooms that are inside the rocks are dark and are not recommended for people who tend to feel claustrophobic.

High season in Cappadocia starts in early May and ends approximately in mid-September. During that period, prices at Cappadocia’s hotels are up to 70% increased. quick tip: The best period to visit it is mid-April or early October, when prices are reasonable. Finally, you should know that a) The hotels that have been dug out since the 10th-13th centuries (by the residents of Cappadocia), offer more expensive accommodation b) The more tourism grows, the more prices in hotels are going to increase.

Mini tips: a) Hotels in Cappadocia are not many if you consider that they are no more than 600. b) The average price per night is at 70 to 90€, including breakfast.

The Dream of Cappadocia is exactly what its name states. The hotel is located in the village of Uchisar, and more specifically, in the shadow of Cappadocia’s tallest castle. The area around the hotel is quiet only when the castle closes, while it hosts a lot of tourist shops, supermarkets and more.

The hotel has a lounge area, as well as an amazing terrace with a view of the Kayseri Erciyes mountain, the Red Valley, the Ortahisar Castle, the Pigeon Valley, the Love Valley, Avanos, Göreme, Cavuşin and a canvas of hundreds of hot-air balloons painting the sky of Cappadocia.

Over there you can enjoy your hookah, tea or coffee, while in the afternoon (at 17:00) it awaits you for donuts, cookies and other sweet delicacies that are prepared by the ladies of the village. The staff is at your disposal 24/7, always polite and ready to help you with anything you might need. Finally, we should mention that it offers free local transportation, in a 3km radius, from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.

The Dream of Cappadocia has nine Cave rooms and suites, which sport a more modern and luxurious version of Cappadocia.
