Entertainment

Entertainment Barcelona

When we talk about entertainment in Barcelona, we mean the neighborhoods of Gracia and El Born! They are two neighborhoods with quite the distance between them, but concentrate the largest part of nightlife in Barcelona. El Born is the youth heaven, with many cocktail bars keeping the fun unflagging until late. Prices are lower and the people are casual and relaxed, as far as attire options and attitude are concerned. Gracia, on the other hand, is a neighborhood that has tons of options for all tastes and budgets. The only certainty is that in order to find a table you must have made reservations…even on weekdays.

We suggest you to: discover one or even more bars every night!

Be chocolat

Churros have become a significant reason for us to return to Barcelona! Of course, by far the largest part of the responsibility falls on the Be chocolat shops, which bring the Spanish confection to another level. When the other shops serve cold Churros with powder chocolate, Be chocolat serves freshly-baked churros with real melted chocolate! Do not make the mistake of leaving Barcelona without having eaten at least once! MUST EAT!

We suggest you to try: …Churros!

Creps al Born

The El Born neighborhood is famed for its vivid nightlife and the Creps al Born bar steps in to confirm it! It is located in the heart of the neighborhood and it is a favorite hub for youth in the evenings. You see, the loud music, the moving lights, the horns sounding every now and then and the parading drinks, raise the spirits and create a delightful environment of entertainment in Barcelona’s nightlife.

We suggest you to try: their fantastic cocktails!

Colon Hotel Rooftop

Barcelona is full of roof bars. One of them is on the rooftop of the Colon Hotel and has something unique. What is that? Unobstructed view of the Barcelona Cathedral. From up there you can also enjoy the view of the city, the port and Montjuïc Hill, accompanied by a frozen Estrella Damm or a cocktail! (Coffee is not served.)

We suggest you to try: Estrella Damm beer!
Cost: €€

Mescladis

Mescladis is an outdoor shop that is housed in a courtyard of the El Born neighborhood. The colorful seats, lounge atmosphere and wonderful beverages will make you quickly fall in love with it! The only problem is that you might have a hard time finding a table, because of the high occupancy. It is also ideal for your evening outing.

We suggest you to try: the home-made Lemonade!
Cost: €€
Total score: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cafes el magnifico

The Cafes el Magnifico is among the few noteworthy cafés in Barcelona, since the city is not famed for its good coffee! The small shop is located in the city center, between the Gothic Quarter and El Born. The only “problem” is that you will have to take it with you, as the café is take-away.

We suggest you to try: their amazing Cappuccino!
Cost: €€

Chok-The Chocolate Kitchen

Chok-The Chocolate Kitchen chain has managed to make anyone who is indifferent towards sweets love them and anyone who loves them adore them! Filled sweets with pastry and all kinds of coating, macarons, cakes, biscuits, croissants, filled donuts and confections in tons of flavors will cover your every sweet craving. Quality is overflowing, while prices are at high levels.

We suggest you to try: the peanut chocolates!
