The bar offers cocktails by the liter(!) and at a great price. Now, if drinking opens up your appetite, you can sit at its exterior space and enjoy a meal in Trastevere’s most central street. Tamero’ pasta bar is the locals’ (as well as Travelens’) favorite hangout. The interior space is diligently sloppy and the staff is polite and attentive. Tamero’ is the ideal destination to enjoy a few drinks and relax with the sounds of a live band. If the weather allows it, opt for the exterior space, so you can enjoy some people-watching at the Santo Spirito Square. Highly Recommended (H)

Salotto 42 offers a first-rate chance to have a drink in nighttime Rome. It is one of the most famous cocktail bars in the heart of the city, opposite the San Adriano church. In a pleasant environment, with nice music and refined interior décor, you have the chance to choose and enjoy the perfect cocktail. The shop also offers coffee, while prices are a bit higher than the city average. On Fridays and Saturdays it is hard to get a table, unless you get there early. Recommended (R)

Molo5 is the ultimate place for entertainment in Florence. It is an outdoor space located next to the Arno River and it is the biggest refuge for Florence’s youth. Within the space there are five choices for fast food (food-booth style) like pizza, burgers, sea food and vegetarian dishes, while the cocktails, beers and wines are always flowing. There are events taking place such as live bands, plays, DJs, cinema nights etc. –almost- daily. An amazing experience that you shouldn’t miss. Highly Recommended (H)

This shop is a quiet haven away from the crowds of Trastevere. It is an alternative wine bar, which at the same time works as a retail store with products from the vegetable garden, wines, marmalades, sauces and more. The polite owners give an even friendlier attitude to the already warm atmosphere of the shop, while the platters accompanying the wine are prepared with local products and home recipes. It is worth spending a few moments of relaxation, while trying some unique flavors. Recommended (R)

Tre Scalini is one of the few locations in Rome, where you can taste the Tartufo semi-freddo ice-cream. It is a totally tourist shop, in the piazza Navona, which apart from the tasty chocolate delicacy and the location, has nothing else to offer. With high prices and tastes that will leave you indifferent, this shop will be quickly erased from your memory (but not the ice-cream). Also, its beverages are disappointing, as well as the staff’s attitude. Pass (P)
